Effective 15 July 2026
What we keep, and why.
We collect only what we reasonably need to research prospects, show previews, handle enquiries, take payment and run customer websites.
1. Who controls your data
Pricing Logic Limited, trading as Somersites, is responsible for the personal data described here. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 16278309 at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.
Contact: hello@somersites.com.
2. Data we use
- Prospect information: business names, websites, public business details and work contact information supplied to us or found in business sources.
- Preview activity: the prospect slug, recipient token, time, referrer, browser user-agent and a one-way hash of the IP address when a preview is viewed.
- Correspondence: emails, replies, opt-outs and notes needed to handle an enquiry or customer relationship.
- Customer details: contact, domain and service information needed to launch, host and support a website.
- Payment information: payment status and customer details returned by Stripe. Stripe processes full card details; we do not receive or store them.
3. How we use it
We use this information to prepare fact-checked website previews, send relevant business outreach, understand whether a recipient viewed a preview, respond to messages, suppress people who opt out, provide purchased services, prevent misuse and meet accounting or legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
4. Cookies and preview telemetry
The main somersites.com marketing pages do not use analytics cookies. A prospect preview stores its recipient token in a first-party cookie so repeat views can be associated with the same outreach link. The token identifies the outreach recipient; it is telemetry, not an access-control or security token.
Preview pages are marked noindex, but anyone who has or guesses the preview URL may be able to open it.
5. Providers and international processing
We use service providers where needed to run Somersites, including Cloudflare for website, DNS, email-routing and database infrastructure; Stripe for checkout and payments; and the provider of our business mailbox. They process data under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Because our prospects and providers can be outside the United Kingdom, data may be processed internationally with safeguards appropriate to the provider and transfer.
6. Retention
We keep prospect and outreach records while the campaign is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to avoid repeat contact. Opt-out records are retained as long as needed to honour the opt-out. Customer, payment and accounting records are kept for the service relationship and applicable legal retention periods. Preview telemetry is periodically deleted or aggregated when it is no longer useful.
7. Your choices and rights
You can opt out of outreach by replying “no thanks” or asking us not to contact you. You may also ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data, or object to its use, subject to legal exceptions. Email hello@somersites.com.
If you are in the UK and remain unhappy, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Changes
We may update this notice as the service changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
