Effective 15 July 2026
Plain terms for a straightforward website.
These terms are for businesses buying a Somersites website from Pricing Logic Limited.
The short version: $499 launches the approved preview on your domain and includes the first 12 months of hosting. Continued hosting after that is $39/month, only after you authorise it. You keep your domain and can request the site files if you leave.
1. Who these terms are between
“Somersites”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Pricing Logic Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16278309, at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.
“Customer”, “you” and “your” mean the business purchasing the website. This service is offered for business use, not personal or household use.
You accept these terms when you tick the terms box and complete the $499 Stripe checkout.
2. What you are buying
We will prepare the preview you have already seen for launch, remove the preview ribbon and noindex controls, and help connect it to a domain you control. The service includes:
- the static website shown in your preview, subject to factual corrections agreed before launch;
- reasonable help connecting the website portion of your domain without changing your existing email setup;
- HTTPS hosting and reasonable uptime monitoring for the included hosting period; and
- small content changes while you are on a paid hosting plan.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the service does not include ecommerce, customer accounts, databases, custom integrations, ongoing SEO campaigns, advertising, photography, a rebrand, or a substantial redesign.
3. Price and renewal
The launch fee is USD $499, paid once through Stripe. It includes the first 12 months of hosting beginning on the date the website goes live on your domain.
After those 12 months, continued hosting is USD $39 per month. It does not start automatically from the launch checkout. Before the included year ends, we will ask you to authorise a separate recurring payment or invoice arrangement.
Applicable taxes, if any, will be shown before payment or on the relevant invoice.
4. Launch and your responsibilities
We aim to launch within seven days after payment, provided you respond reasonably promptly and supply any domain access, DNS changes, factual corrections or approvals we need. A delay caused by missing access or information moves the expected launch date accordingly.
You are responsible for confirming that business details and supplied content are accurate and that you have permission to use any text, photographs, logos or other material you ask us to publish. We may refuse content that appears unlawful, misleading, infringing or unsafe.
5. Small content changes
Small content changes include ordinary edits such as opening hours, contact details, short service descriptions, staff details, or adding a reasonable number of supplied project photographs. We normally complete these within two business days.
New page structures, new functionality, large copy rewrites, repeated high-volume requests or redesign work are outside the hosting plan. We will explain any separate price before starting that work.
6. Ownership and portability
Your domain remains in your name and account. You retain ownership of content and branding you supply.
We retain ownership of our internal research, automation, templates, reusable components and build process. Once the launch fee is paid, you receive a perpetual licence to use the delivered website for your business. If you leave our hosting, we will provide a copy of the deployable site files on request, excluding our internal tools and pipeline.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel continued hosting at any time by emailing hello@somersites.com. The website remains hosted through any period already paid for. We do not charge an early termination fee.
Because you receive and inspect the completed preview before purchase, the $499 launch fee becomes non-refundable once we begin domain or launch work. If we cannot deliver the launch service for reasons within our control, we will refund the part of the launch fee relating to work not delivered. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Availability and liability
We use reputable infrastructure and take reasonable care, but no internet service is uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for outages or losses caused by domain registrars, DNS providers, customer changes, third-party services, attacks, or events outside our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
9. Ending the service
We may suspend or end the service if payment is overdue, the website is used unlawfully, or you materially breach these terms and do not fix the breach after reasonable notice. Where practical, we will give you an opportunity to export the site files.
10. General
These terms and any written order details are the agreement between us for the service. Changes must be agreed in writing. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Neither party may transfer the agreement without the other's consent, except as part of a genuine sale or reorganisation of its business.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
